Groton Utilities will receive sealed bids at the Office of the Manager, Water Division, 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut 06340, until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on March 18, 2016 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Required Bid Form and Specifications are listed below or may be obtained by contacting Ron Bata, Water Division Executive Assistant at 860-446-4022, picking them up at 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut 06340, between 7:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.

OBrien String Trio Plays City Cabaret on 2/18

The OBrien String Trio will be featured The OBrien TrioSunday, February 18, at City Cabaret 2018.

This versatile ensemble will be playing innovative arrangements of all styles of music, appealing to all ages in the audience, including everything from “Bach to Rock and back to Broadway.”

The trio consists of Kate O’Brien on the violin, Lydia Leizman on the viola, and Zoe Hassman on the cello.

All City Cabaret 2018 concerts are free and are held in the City of Groton Municipal Auditorium at 295 Meridian Street in the City of Groton on selected Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

The City Cabaret concert series is co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department.

The Cartells Quartet will get you into the swing of things, musically that is, on Sunday, March 11, 2018. The Andy Sherwood Dixieland Jazz Quartet concert has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 8.

Dessert and coffee will be available for purchase from the Fitch High School Alcohol and Drug Free Party Committee.
