Groton Utilities currently offers cash incentive programs to residential and commercial & industrial electric users who are interested in voluntarily curtailing electricity consumption. Voluntary curtailments occur in a very few number of times during the year (typically in the summer months when the temperature and humidity levels are at their highest).
