| As part of Groton Utilities continuing effort to provide the highest quality water to our customers and to ensure fire protection capabilities, we conduct an annual hydrant-flushing program. Most hydrant flushing will be conducted during daylight hours, with limited flushing occurring over evenings and weekends.
The annual hydrant flushing is conducted during late spring of each year, usually beginning in late May and extending into the middle of June.
